Augments research tree

Augments are items that can be added to your Commander gear in order to enhance its stats.

Currently you can only add Augments to the Weapon in your Commander gear, with the possibility to add up to 4 Augments depending on your research

With the release of Weapon Augments came a whole new research tree: the Augment research.

The new Research

Here is a complete breakdown of the Augment research tree. please note that all stats are for completed research (10/10)

  • Unlock normal weapon augment slot 1 – unlocks the 1st Augment slot in normal weapon
  • Unlock core weapon augment slot 1 – unlocks the 1st Augment slot in core weapon
  • Infantry Defense with Commander I – 325%
  • Tactical Defense with Commander I – 325%
  • Armored Vehicle Defense with Commander I – 325%
  • Unlock normal weapon augment slot 2 – unlocks the 2nd Augment slot in normal weapon
  • Unlock core weapon augment slot 2 – unlocks the 2nd Augment slot in core weapon
  • Commander promotion queue – 20%
  • Infantry Health with Commander I – 325%

Thoughts on the Augment research tree

The Augment research tree provides good combat boosts for Defense, Health and Attack.

The Core gear Duration research is ideal for those making Cores as the 20% Duration increase will allow for the cores to be used for a longer period of time, helping to maximize their potential.

The Augments can be used as soon as the required Augment slot research is completed. In order to enhance the benefits each Augment gives however, you will need to research the Multipliers to gain the maximum combat boost from each Augment.

The Researches for Rebel hitting will help especially when targeting larger rebel targets that are tougher to kill.
